That’s
great it starts with Adobe Premiere
Its lagging and unfriendly interface
Look at the lag and the computer issues that arise from what I had done
Personal squabbles, editing hurdles, render and type at a Knox speed.
I’ve
been listening to R.EM. lately and I figured I’d do something a little
different post wise, go in a bit of what I’ve been juggling and some ups and
downs on the pre-production of the YouTube video Stumblin Media has been
working on for a while.
So pre-production for those who may not know involves planning how production
will go for something and the resources needed, what the thing is about and so
on so forth. With making a YouTube video, in this case going over Van Der Merwe
en Boetie, a South African romhack of the original Super Mario Bros, I’ve been
trying to get down how to both produce a video without it being too strenuous as
I do not wish to burn myself out.
My first idea was to try what most people probably do – give Adobe Premiere a run and my word. How is a company that takes in so much money from designers unable to optimize their video editing software, I should not be struggling to do basic things like add videos to a timeline without the program coughing like a cigarette addict.
This got me looking into alternatives

"No, go away, you're also a nuisance" |
I may also have to prep entire expressions – which I have worked on in the background as some who may follow my socials have noticed , as well as in recent blog posts. All part of getting it done so that future videos can ideally run smoother and maybe come out at a decent pace
The plus side is , I do as a matter of fact have all the footage of the romhack I need for what I have planned, as well as a fully typed out script
So what comes
next?
Next, it’ll be the narration, which I am working on, this ties into the
computer issues that had plagued me as not only did my motherboard and GPU
decide to die on me, it was at the same time and all while I had to grind funds
to sort the matter out. I also had come down with some terrible disease that
left me barely able to speak for nearly an entire month – recovering from it
has taken a little longer too but it hasn’t stopped me from trying to exercise
to get back into the swing of things, while also setting up my VA endeavours.
I do not have an ETA on it, but I can say I want it out as soon as possible and
I want to keep the drive going.
Sometimes it’s hard to juggle that with the avalanche of stuff I must currently
go through, but hopefully as time goes on and once this and things pick up,
hopefully I can get out of these circumstances.
I do thank the people that have tuned in to read, I really wish I could
interact with some of my readers, as I would love to hear your thoughts on
content I’ve covered too.
Let’s try and keep the steam train going, maybe with a bit of that diesel flair
ya know
I don’t think that metaphor makes too much sense but essentially, trying to
keep that motivation going. The hardest part of getting to a valley is the climb
over the tumultuous cliff
