It has finally happened, from blogs to now a video
I cannot express both relief and that internal shake that comes from seeing one's work come into fruition, especially after a particularly rough bout I've had to endure in my day to day life.
But this, this I can take pride in - after fighting computer delays, pre production planning, losing my voice and then some!
It is finally alive!
Shotcut is a blessed program and I cannot stress enough how I look forward to using it in my future endeavors while ideally getting better and better.
Here's hoping things grow - and here's me kicking myself for forgetting to mention the context behind the Van Der Merwe name
- To summarize it's a common punchline of a joke in South Africa and is also derived from a popular comedian named Tolla Van Der Merwe who was making waves around the country in the 1980s.
So something I'll have to figure out of course is what to do blog wise and what to do video wise.
Ideally I hope to get a decent balance of the two, but we will have to see, I am a creative at heart, who yearns for many things, be it writing, creating things,and voice over. So fingers crossed for the road ahead
